Veronique Bozonga is the lady behind couture label Veronique B Couture. Her current collection SENNIYA represents new beginnings and is inspired by the new birth of her granddaughter. In March 09 she showcased her unique collection at the A La Mode' 09 Catwalk show hosted by La Geneve North Events.
Veronique has been designing and making clothes since she was 14 back in Congo (DRC) and in total has been designing for about 22 yrs. When she moved to England from Congo she took a break then networked and built a clientele over here and really got back into designing again.
Primarily a self taught designer, Veronique took a short course in 1997 at H.A.S.T.A in London to refresh and further develop her skills. Designing and making clothes is her gift as she naturally taught herself the logistics and initially only made clothes for friends and family. Due to popular demand Veronique eventually built a loyal customer base and Veronique B Couture was born.
She adds a contemporary European twist to her designs which makes them very unique and appealing to both African and Western Cultures. She also draws on influences from her culture and upbringing.
